Barrio Brothers – Mercado del Barrio
Barrio Brothers – Mercado del Barrio
Our team at Location Matters has been hard at work sourcing the right restaurants for Shea Properties’ super hip Mercado del Barrio project in Barrio Logan, and it’s paying off. The newest addition to the project is the brain child of veteran restaurateurs Raymond Davoudi (Meze Greek Fusion) and Roman Daylamy (Taste & Thirst). Their new Italian Concept, Barrio Brothers, a play on the ever popular Mario Bros brand, will serve up a variety of Pizzas, Italian subs, Stromboli, and much more. Craft beers and custom cocktails will complement the Italian eats. Marc Karren represented the landlord and tenant in this transaction.

Breakfast Republic – East Village
They say it’s the most important meal of the day, and now breakfast lovers will have another location to start the day off right with Breakfast Republic at 707 G. St. in East Village. With two successful locations already in Liberty Station and North Park, Breakfast Republic is set to take over the former location of Zanzibar Café. Johan Engman is no stranger to success in the breakfast arena as owner overseeing operations of three Fig Tree Café branches and all Breakfast Republic locations with more coming soon to Encinitas and Carmel Valley. Michael Burton from Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord and Mike Spilky represented the tenant in this transaction.
