Alex joined Location Matters in 2016 as Client Services Director/Marketing Specialist, managing all aspects of client services, marketing, transactions, and contract and escrow management.
Originally from Connecticut, Alex relocated to San Diego to pursue a marketing role with the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. In this role, she worked closely with food and beverage, gaining valuable insight and knowledge of the industry.
Specifically, Alex worked directly with chefs and culinary teams from five restaurant outlets to design and update menus both in-house and online across multiple channels. She also managed the promotion of culinary events, such as San Diego Restaurant Week, holiday dining, and more through social media, print/digital collateral and advertising. Alex was also responsible for design and deployment of all e-marketing communications to the resort’s locals’ database, the majority of which were food and beverage-related events.
Alex is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. She lives in La Costa with her boyfriend, Chris, and their dog, Brady. In her free time, Alex enjoys yoga, spin classes, hiking, and trying the latest restaurants around San Diego.
