    Cellar Hand | Hillcrest

    Cellar Hand by Pali Wine has arrived in the heart of Hillcrest at Normal St. & University Ave!  This 2,000 SF space, featuring a large heated patio area, underwent a complete remodel transforming it into a welcoming hyper-local destination.  Cellar Hand is the first full-service restaurant from the Pali Wine team in Little Italy. Co-owners Nick and Carmen Perr and executive chef Logan Kendall collaborate with 26 local farmers to bring seasonal produce to their coastal Californian and Mediterranean menu. The emphasis on local ingredients creates a unique and fresh dining experience. Mike Spilky represented both the Tenant and Landlord in this highly anticipated restaurant opening.

    Punta Mar | Encinitas

    Grupo Gula, a renowned hospitality company from Mexico City, opened its first U.S. location, Punta Mar restaurant, in Encinitas. Known for its 35 restaurants in Mexico, Grupo Gula's owner Lalo González transformed a 2,000 square-foot space on South Coast Highway for this new venture. Punta Mar offers a primarily outdoor dining experience with a menu focusing on Mexican seafood dishes but patrons can also look forward to diverse offerings including birria pizza, and garlic oil grilled ribeye steak. The bar also features extravagant micheladas, margaritas, mezcal drinks, beer, and wine.  Marc Karren represented the Tenant in this deal.

    Surfside Fish House, has officially opened its doors in Miramar Ranch North at 10585 Scripps Poway Parkway!  This 2,400 SF restaurant features a vibrant coastal fish market atmosphere and an extensive menu. Guests can savor classic seafood dishes and a variety of wines and local craft beers. Surfside Fish House aims to provide an extensive array of mouthwatering seafood dishes, all served with the utmost hospitality, always making customers feel like family. Hannah Sierpina represented the Tenant in the transaction.

    After nearly 40 years, Por Favor Mexican Restaurant in La Mesa has been sold to a renowned restaurant group which plans to expand its presence on La Mesa’s main street. Por Favor closed its La Mesa Boulevard location on June 30th but will continue operating in El Cajon. Alba Restaurant Group, known for popular venues like Farmers Table La Mesa, Smokey and the Brisket and Limoncello, will introduce a new Mexican concept in the 3,500-square-foot space after a complete remodel.  Alexis Couch represented both the Buyer and the Seller in this noteworthy transaction.
