Crust Pizzeria
Crust Pizzeria celebrated their grand opening in Carmel Valley’s Torrey Hills Shopping Center on September 27. This is the second location for the upscale neighborhood pizzeria which serves up artisan New York style pizza with a modern touch. Pillbox Tavern & Grill
Named after the local famous beach break nearby, Pillbox Tavern has officially opened their doors at 117 W. Plaza Street, next to Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach. Pillbox Tavern is a collaboration of seasoned restaurateurs which include Leigh Gibson, Mike Garcia, Adam Jacoby, and strategic partner Justin La Frantz; all of which collectively bring over 40 years of professional and operational experience to the table in hospitality.  Pillbox Tavern will be offering Solana Beach and North County residents a rotating selection of local/craft beers and a menu consisting of a selection of delectable wings, sandwiches, burgers, salads and savory treats. Location Matters recently leased 4,800 square feet of restaurant space to Celebrity Chef Javier Plascencia, who brings his Baja inspired restaurant, Bracero: Cocina Mexicana de Raiz, to Little Italy’s Ariel Suites. We also represented Plascencia’s restaurant group in the high profile transaction, which will be the second Southern California restaurant location for the famed chef who also owns Mision 19 in Tijuana Baja, CA and Finca Altozano in Valle De Guadalupe, Baja CA.
