Madhouse Danceis an all-levels inclusive dance fitness studio with extra spice that empowers women to let loose, have fun, and get a killer workout. Their unique classes have drawn in people from all over San Diego County to their flagship location near USD. We helped Madhouse find the perfect home for their 2nd studio, a 2,373 SF space part of Camino Village Plaza in Encinitas. We are excited for Madhouse to be closer to their North County clients and for the brand to continue to grow its presence in San Diego! Hannah Sierpina represented the Tenant.
Trattoria Da Sofia|Kensington
We are pleased to share that the 3,554 SF restaurant on 4055 Adams Avenue, once housing Michelin-recognized Cucina Sorella, has been leased! A group of experienced restaurateurs hailing from San Diego, Sicily, and Mexico City will be opening Trattoria Da Sofia, an Italian restaurant serving traditional “casereccio” dishes with fresh homemade pastas with local seafood and organic ingredients. The restaurant is set to open early 2024. Mike Spilky represented both the Landlord and the Tenant.
The 3,960 SF restaurant property on a 14,191 SF lot, previously home to longstanding La Tapatia has been sold for its listed price of $2,200,000. Scheduled to reopen in 2024, it will become the popular Los Angeles-based Mexican restaurant, Kalaveras. This space is the perfect home for the brand given the strong presence on Grand Avenue, exclusive parking lot, and entertainment license for live music. Mike Spilky represented both the Seller of the real estate and Seller of the business in an FF&E and license sale.
Craft House|Fashion Valley
We are excited for Craft House and their opening of their new 1,907 SF location with 720 SF patio at Fashion Valley Mall. From food truck beginnings to Sky Deck at Del Mar Highlands, and now their 2nd restaurant location, with stunning Tulum inspired interior. Their all-day restaurant features live music on the weekends to pair their New American, Mexican fusion cuisine that is the culinary craft of chef and co-owner Caesar Huerta. Alexis Couch represented the Tenant in this transaction.
