Greetings Friends!
2021 is coming to a close and what a fruitful year it was. The world was still working on getting its feet back under it with many anomalies still showing up because of the pandemic. However, amidst it all the Location Matters team was busy cranking out deals left and right. We feel blessed for our talented team and our robust network of clients who keep us doing what we do best. The retail and restaurant market is churning more than ever and we cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store. Location Matters hopes everyone has a spectacular holiday season, finishes Q4 out strong, and heads into 2022 with optimism and exuberance – happy reading!

Angry Chickz — Tulare & Hanford
Angry Chickz has been in growth mode this year and has finished off 2021 with two more signed leases! One location is 3,000 square feet located in Tulare Marketplace Shopping Center and the other is 3,650 square feet located in Fargo Crossing Shopping Center in Hanford. These two locations will put Angry Chickz at 16 locations between California and Nevada. We feel very lucky to have helped Angry Chickz lock in so many locations that continue to grow their brand. Alexis Dachs represented the Tenant.

Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen — Downtown Oceanside
We are so stoked for Oceanside's local favorite, Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen, who has officially "reopened" on Mission Avenue. After ten years at their 626 S Tremont St. location, we sold them the restaurant property at 509 Mission Ave. where they ultimately decided to move Flying Pig. The owners Roddy Browning and his wife Aaron did one heck of a job completely transforming their new space. From stripping away the drop ceiling to showcase the original redwood ceiling and exposing some of the original 1940s brick, to bringing in décor from their previous Oceanside and Vista locations, they really gave the restaurant a 180 and made it feel like home. Go visit them in Oceanside to see for yourself and enjoy an insanely delicious meal! Marc Karren represented the Buyer and Seller.
