February is here already and we are off to the races. The Location Matters team is feeling energized by the strong start to the year we experienced in January and are maintaining the momentum. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the chefs behind Zen Modern Asian Bistro to make this location work for their glass encased raw bar, sushi & robata grill concept that is the cherry on top for the Sky Deck. The restaurateurs behind Marufuku Ramen, Craft House, J at Sky Deck, Ziziki's Street Food, and Glass Box, along with the rest of the dynamic restaurant line up are hard at work curating their tailored experiences and we cannot wait to see the dining collective in all its glory late Spring of 2021! Ding Tea
Fashion Valley Mall has been in need of an authentic boba tea operator and Ding Tea was the perfect fit. Ding Tea honors Taiwan’s bubble tea culture by freshly brewing tea for every order and using high quality real milk. The concept will be occupying 1,788 SF on the west side of the mall - the first food/beverage concept on the second level that is not a part of the food court. Alexis Dachs represented the Tenant.

We are proud to announce the recent lease of the 4,000 SF Koko Beach restaurant space in Carlsbad Village. After almost 30 years in the location, Koko Beach will be passing the baton to the restaurateurs behind 264 Fresco, who plan to do an extensive remodel to the restaurant and debut a new "Fresco Cantina" Mexican concept. We were pleased to find Fresco this rare coastal location to continue to grow their brand. Mike Spilky represented the Tenant.
