Hunter Steakhouse — Mission Valley
|
|
Co-owner of Home & Away, Jonathan Frank, closed on Hunter Steakhouse in Mission Valley, a longstanding restaurant in San Diego that has been in the area for half a decade. The 5,200 SF Restaurant will undergo a complete renovation to bring a fresh new concept called The Remy to be delivered in Summer 2023. The surrounding area known as Riverwalk will also be breaking ground soon to undergo a revitalization of its own over the next 3 years to bring a walkable, live-work-play neighborhood right next to The Remy. David Cutler represented both the Buyer and Seller in this transaction.

Polo Steakhouse — Carlsbad

The owner of Paon Restaurant & Wine Bar has transitioned a 4,700 SF restaurant off Cannon Road in Carlsbad to Polo Steakhouse. The restaurant group scored with this location being in close proximity to high tourism areas and large businesses right off the I- 5. The executive team of Polo Steakhouse aims to deliver a rich experience for all, combining extraordinary flavors paired with top-shelf wines and specialty cocktails. Their menu showcases seafood-forward small bites and well-crafted main courses. Mike Spilky represented the Landlord and the Tenant.

The Brick Hotel has certainly made a splash in Oceanside with Cococabana on the rooftop and now the grand opening of Q & A Restaurant and Oyster Bar on the ground floor, both from Grind & Prosper Hospitality. As the name entails, diners can expect a plethora of delicious oysters from Chef QA, Quinnton Austin, along with other delicious Nola-inspired dishes and drinks. Location Matters represented this transition in full, with Marc Karren representing the landlord and Mike Spilky representing the tenant.

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters — Encinitas

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters continues to spread its wings in San Diego and has landed in Downtown Encinitas at the Lumberyard right on S. Coast Hwy. While they expand, the Bird Rock Coffee team stays true to their mission of supporting farmers through farm-to-cup sourcing while adding in support for local initiatives like the Little Blue Penguins at Birch Aquarium. To top it off, they continue to deliver great-quality coffee. Marc Karren represented the Tenant in this transaction.

Little Victory Wine Market — Encinitas
|
|
The newest Downtown Encinitas addition is Little Victory Wine Market. The founders are a husband-and-wife powerhouse that has turned 1,380 SF into a well-curated shop focused on bringing people together to enjoy a wonderful glass of wine and spread. Each bottle is intentionally chosen from vineyards with organic and sustainable practices in California and abroad. Their market contains a small selection of cured meats, cheeses, and other products perfect for pairing or enhancing a meal. Marc Karren of Location Matters represented the Tenant.
