With COVID restrictions lifted, tourism starting to ramp back up, and residents getting back to dining out, the restaurants are welcoming full capacities once again. Location Matters recently facilitated a 10-year lease between the Landlord and Qdoba, a 700+ unit national Mexican restaurant chain, for a prime drive thru location in La Mesa. We exclusively marketed this 18,295 square foot parcel as a ground lease with the intention of a tenant converting the parcel to a drive thru. The location fit Qdoba’s criteria swimmingly and they plan to construct a 1,050 square foot restaurant on the lot with drive thru access from Parkway Drive. David S. Cutler represented the Landlord.

Main Chick's specialty is mouthwatering hot chicken, served in either a tender, leg, or sandwich form (you choose the spice level) paired with crinkle fries and their special MC sauce. Giving Back
With Covid limiting many of the opportunities for volunteer work in San Diego for over a year, it felt great to finally be able to give back again. We worked with PATH San Diego to organize food inventory and serve meals to their residents. PATH works to provide a variety of services for those experiencing homelessness including outreach, housing navigation, interim housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. We felt fortunate to help PATH in their endeavor to provide a one-stop service center for the homeless of San Diego.
