The buyer, Chadrock, Inc, led by San Diego natives Chad Cline and Jason Nichols, has exciting plans to renovate the 2,500 SF space by expanding the bar, adding booths, and re-opening as “Werewolf” – a San Diego version of a London Pub. | Location Matters is proud to announce the sale of South Bay Fish & Grill at the Chula Vista Marina to a group out of state restaurateurs. The new business will be called “Dolphins Restaurant & Banquet” in honor of the proximity to the Ocean and the bronze statue of three happy dolphins that has been at the front of the building for over 25 years. The restaurant will undergo a major renovation (inside and out) in the months to come. Already approved by the Port of San Diego, and 15 years in the works, the Chula Vista waterfront will undergo a major redevelopment starting in 2016. The new waterfront will feature a high rise luxury condominium tower, a hotel, conference center, and numerous retail establishments. |
