The wait is over! San Francisco based Ike’s Place opened their 18th sandwich shop this month at The HUB | Hillcrest Market. This is the first San Diego location for the specialty sandwich operator who has a massive cult following and after sampling their menu, we can see why. It’s not just a sandwich – it’s Ike’s. Mike Spilky represented both the landlord and tenant in this transaction.

| We attended a private event held at the iconic Flame Nightclub building on November 21 to kick-off the new ownership and transformation that will take place over the next year. The once gay and lesbian nightclub will be developed into a mixed-use project with 6 apartment units and a bar/cocktail lounge. Partygoers were entertained by fire dancers, stilt walkers and a DJ. Mike Spilky represented the buyer and seller in the sales transaction and Paul Ahern has been retained by the new owner to help facilitate the leasing of the remaining bar/lounge space.
