Airport seeks restaurant operator for space atop rental car building – San Diego Newsroom

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – San Diego airport officials are looking for a restaurant operator for a 7,900-square-foot space atop a rental car facility under construction on the north side of Lindbergh Field.
The location will offer views of the airport runway and panoramic views of the city’s skyline, bay and marinas, according to the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. The site will be right off the airport exits from Interstate 5.

“We’re seeking to establish a unique brand that will resonate with the entire San Diego community and what we are all about — casual, yet refined, craft beer and cocktail-centric, and an approachable and local artisanal food experience,” said Michael Spilky, president of Location Matters, which was hired by the airport to handle the leasing of the space.
