Marc Karren joined Location Matters in 2015 and specializes in the leasing and sales of retail properties, representing Landlords, Tenants, Buyers and Sellers. Prior to that he spent over 3 years with local brokerage firm Pacific Coast Commercial. Marc is active in all parts of San Diego County with a primary focus on retail product in Coastal and Urban markets.
Marc has successfully completed hundreds of sale and lease transactions providing him the knowledge and experience to help his clients reach their specific investment objectives. His commitment to his clients and resourcefulness have been demonstrated through his ability to lease space and sell buildings where others have failed. His primary goal is to leverage his knowledge of the industry, marketplace and individual product, to provide unparalleled brokerage services in sales and leasing of retail real estate. Marc was the recipient of San Diego Business Journal’s Top Retail Lease award in 2013 and a nominee of the same award in 2014.
Marc graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in International Business and attended the University of Salzburg in Austria, focusing on European Studies. He lives in Encinitas with his two kids, Jack, 18, and Rylie, 13, enjoying a lifestyle centered around the ocean where they spend their free time at the beach either surfing, stand-up paddling, diving or embarking on the occasional fishing trip.
