Northern California Based Sandwich Chain, Ike’s Place, Signs Its First Lease in San Diego Countyposted under
San Diego, California – June 22, 2015 Location Matters Brokerage Services announces that it has facilitated the first San Diego County lease for Ike’s Place at The HUB | Hillcrest Market located at 1030 University Avenue in Hillcrest. Based in San Francisco, Ike’s Place has 13 locations in Northern California, 1 in Los Angeles, and 2 in Arizona. The new Hillcrest outpost will be the first of its locations to serve beer, with most of it sourced locally and from the Bay Area. Ike’s Place features an extensive menu of super stuffed cheeky named sandwiches, including several to be invented by local known athletes.
Mike Spilky of Location Matters exclusively represented the landlord and tenant in this paramount transaction. A new 10-year lease valued at $894,183 was signed by Ike’s Plaza #5, LLC as lessee and Uptown District Regency, LLC as landlord. The sandwich shop space is 1,100 square feet with an additional 840 square foot outdoor patio.
The Hub | Hillcrest Market is an urban redevelopment, which underwent a massive $3 million renovation in 2014, encompassing new custom murals by San Diego-based artists, sculptural art installations, drought-resistant and indigenous landscaping, and new hardscaping.
